A Fresh 48 session is a beautiful way to capture the precious first hours of a newborn’s life. Taken within the first 48 hours after birth, or around day 2-3, these sessions document the raw, emotional, and intimate moments as families welcome their newest member.
With a focus on natural light and minimal posing, Fresh 48 sessions preserve the tiny details—wrinkled fingers, hospital bracelets, first yawns, and the overwhelming love shared in those early bonding moments.
Unlike our traditional newborn photography sessions, Fresh 48 sessions capture the real, unscripted story of a baby’s first day, creating memories that will be cherished for a lifetime. We capture little wriggles, flexing toes, cries, smiles and baby yawns. All the best details of your baby’s first few days.

$995 Fresh 48 Digital Image package
Your Fresh 48 digital image package includes the best digital images, approximately 50+.
I know you’re after your photos super-quick so you can announce baby’s arrival, so I aim to send your digital images to you within a few days of your session.
$200 deposit is due upon booking, with the remaining amount due 14 days before your due date.

Fresh 48 sessions are held in our Brisbane hospitals, usually in the morning, within visiting hours.
I’m available to photograph your bub at any of our local Brisbane hospitals.

Book your Fresh 48 session during pregnancy, and then contact me ASAP on the same day once baby has arrived.
Please note, we can’t generally accommodate next-day sessions if you haven’t pre-booked. However, please get in touch to see if we can squeeze you in!
If you are birthing and going home within 24 hours, you are welcome to have your Fresh 48 session in your home on the Northside of Brisbane. Southside locations incur a travel fee.
