I’m Claire, your Newborn photographer!
I’ve photographed thousands of newborns and babies in my 12+ years as a Newborn Photographer, and over 60,000 kids in my previous life as a Kindy Photographer! So, rest assured, I’ve got a few tips and tricks up my sleeve for dealing with shy toddlers and fussy babies.
I’m also up-to-date with Infant and Baby CPR from CPR Kids, and I’m a Certified Newborn Photographer with the Academy of Newborn Photography, where I complete ongoing assessments to further my training and skills in looking after our pre-natal and post-natal Mums and their babies.

booking your newborn session
Congratulations on your pregnancy! When you’re ready to book, we’ll pencil your baby’s due date in the calendar, and confirm a date after baby has arrived.
If baby has already been born, we’ll schedule a session time very soon, before bub grows any bigger! Because we all know, these little newborns change so much in the first few weeks.
$200 Deposit upon booking
When you’re ready to book, simply deposit a $200 Session Fee to confirm your booking.
This session fee is credited back to your final spend – no hidden costs here!
You’ll receive all our booking info, questionnaire, and a phone call to chat about your fave colours, styling, and answer any questions you may have, along with our “Welcome Guide”, to prepare you for your upcoming Brisbane Newborn photography session.
Add a Maternity session
Consider adding a beautiful Maternity session, only $690, including 10 Digital Images. Maternity sessions can be in Studio, or photographed as a beautiful Milk Bath, or outdoors with your family.
Your pregnancy session should ideally be held between 30-35 weeks, when your bump is visible, and you’re able to move around.
during your newborn session
Your Newborn baby’s photoshoot takes place on a weekday in my boutique home studio in Murrumba Downs, north of Brisbane, ideally when baby is approximately 1-3 weeks old. If your baby is older, that is ok too! I will happily photograph babies of any age.
Our Studio is light and airy, with all the neutral wraps and blankets we need for your baby’s photos. If you have something sentimental such as a wrap or toy, feel free to bring it along! Because if it matters to you, it matters to me, and I’d love to include sentimental items in your newborn session.
We’ll start with sibling and family photos, then send any big siblings outside to play in our fully fenced yard, (complete with Ninja swing set), while we concentrate on photographing your baby.
Newborn sessions are held in the morning around 10am, and take around 2 hours – but it all depends on baby and siblings! We allow time for feeding, shushing and settling, and we’ll have you on your way home after lunch. Just relax on the couch, munch on some snacks, and enjoy watching your baby’s first newborn photos.

Now comes the exciting part, returning to the studio to view your Newborn photos, and choosing your faves!
I’ll guide you through a beautiful slideshow of your baby’s moments, and help you decide which photos you love most. We’ll go through a selection of our favourite printed products, wall art and albums, and show you Grandparents gifts and more that we have on offer.
Choose your fave photos, add them into an Album or view a designed Wall Art layout for your home.
No hard sell, simply choose what you love!
You’ll be paying for your chosen photos on the day, so bring a credit card, or get the Afterpay app and pay off your photos over 6 weeks. Delivery of your images takes 2-3 weeks for digital downloads, or 3-5 weeks for prints, albums and wall art.
Bonus! Wall Art, frames and canvas prints are installed on your walls by our contracted installer, complimentary! It’s all part of the service.

Our Newborn Photography studio in Brisbane
Newborn sessions are held in our boutique home studio, located in Murrumba Downs, Brisbane North.
Here we have everything we need for your baby’s Newborn session! Cosy wraps, neutral fabrics and a few little teddies and props. Our style is minimal and neutral, so we can capture beautifully posed, light and airy images of your baby and your family.
Just bring your baby, and get ready to relax on the couch, as we photograph your new bub.
Bonus – older siblings can play on our outdoor Ninja playground, in our fully fenced yard. Just bring a hat and enjoy some time in the sun while we finish your baby’s photographs.

Brisbane Newborn Photography questions
Newborn sessions start with our $995 Base package! Simply start here, and add on anything else you love. We don’t offer anything less than our Base package.
Ideally during pregnancy so we can fit you into our calendar, however, we can usually fit in last-minute Newborns! So, contact us as soon as you would love your Newborn photographed.
During your Newborn session we’ll photograph your immediate family – parents, siblings, and baby. Grandparents are welcome too, however, we have limited seating space so they may be asked to relax outside. Your baby will be photographed alone, including baby’s details, eyelashes, hands, toes. All the little details you would love!
Absolutely! I’ve had my fair share of motorbike helmets, bears and football jerseys, haha! If it matters to you, it matters to me, so bring along your sentimental items, and we’ll aim to include them.
Ideally Newborns should be around 2-3 weeks old for curled-up, sleepy newborn photos. However, we’ll happily photograph any age, from at least 1 week. Babies around 5-6 weeks are awake, sometimes smiling. Babies around 4-5 months are trying tummy time, which is an entirely different stage. We love all ages!
Absolutely, baby-only sessions are fine! Not all parents want to be involved, and that’s up to you.
Sure! We offer Afterpay where you can take home your artwork and pay it off over 6 weeks. Just sign up to Afterpay on your mobile.
I’ll send you our Welcome Guide once you’ve booked in, which has suggestions on what to wear, and everything else you need to know. Aim for neutrals, creams, whites, tan, grey, and avoid logo’s, stripes and checks.
Our home studio is in Murrumba Downs, Brisbane North. We’re about 8 minutes from North Lakes, with easy access to the Bruce Highway.
The majority of our clients spend $2000+ on their Newborn artwork. Their fave products are Albums full of printed photos, and Wall Art for their homes. We offer a collection of frames, canvas, and acrylic, along with Grandparent gifts and prints priced from $90. Aim to spend at least $1500+ for a great collection of digital images and prints.
